How many hours in a day do you get for yourself? Statistics have shown that the average mom only gets about 17 minutes of me time a day. 17 whole minutes?! Life is wonderful, but is often jam-packed with so many demands; it can be quite easy to get yourself lost in the shuffle.
Lindsay Tipping, owner of one of 2016’s newest plus size fashion brands, With Love, understands this issue all too well as a woman and a small Canadian business entrepreneur. The brand’s mission is not only to provide outstanding quality clothing for the plus size woman, but also to create safe spaces and opportunities for self-love to happen.
In Fall 2016, a city-wide contest was launched by the With Love brand with a goal of finding three dynamic women and giving them the amazing opportunity of being showered with love for an entire day.

Tracy Freitas Scott A recent newlywed and survivor of liver disease, Tracy chose to enter the contest …because after my transplant I felt like I need a boost, a pick-me-up, something that would make me feel good and confident about myself again.

Alicea David-Marsman A fierce mother and wife, Alicea entered the contest …and was excited because, in my early twenties, I had modeling aspirations. I went through a depression after a breast reduction some years ago and I didn’t treat myself the best. I was down on myself mentally. That changed around as I got closer to God. This contest was an incredible experience for me.

Kasandra Diane Henry A beautiful photographer, Kasandra shares that she wanted to be treated and looked on with love. I’ve never been behind the camera … I hated the way I looked in photos for the longest time. We spent the day doing makeup, hair, and fashion styling. We also had one-on-one, on-the-spot confidence coaching with Sophia Apostol. Everyone sure did feel the love!
