Meet Former Miss Plus Canada – Sarah Taylor
Sarah Taylor has been on a journey of discovery that recently culminated in being crowned Miss Plus Size Canada 2014/2015. But her life wasn’t always one of awards and accolades. When she was at school she suffered from bullying for her height, her weight, and her faith.

The confidence that she now has didn’t come naturally for Sarah, she learned to focus on the positive things in life and this is the advice that Sarah gives to others. She suggests that you write down all the things you love about yourself and repeat them often because it helps to reinforce the positive image you have when you look in the mirror. Sarah states that it is now her “heartbeat” to help women learn to love themselves from the inside out.

A highlight of Sarah’s journey was winning Miss Plus Size Canada 2014/2015. It is a real honour to be named Miss Plus Size Canada and Sarah describes her fellow contestants as a sisterhood.

The contest journey has had a positive impact on Sarah’s modelling career and enabled her to help others such as the Canadian Red Cross, the Special Olympics and World Vision to help arrange funding for their charity efforts.

Sarah Taylor is a beautiful and successful woman who has overcome the negativity of others to become a success in the world and deserves our respect for that. Sarah’s journey is an interesting and inspiring one that will live long in our memories.
