Katie Kozloff began her design career in 2008 with a novelty line of underwear. Like many designers, Katie only carried up to size 12, but soon increased it to 24: “I would hear a lot of feedback from the women that they wanted fun, sassy panties too in their size. I totally agreed with their point that they wanted and deserve the same cute items that the smaller girls were getting.”
Katie now runs Katie K Active, an activewear line that’s inclusive of all sizes. Not specializing in either “straight” or “plus” sizes, Katie K offers cute, stylish activewear to women of ALL sizes. Katie says, “I love that Katie K Active is an inclusive line! We offer each style in each color in every size! We use high quality fabrics and expert construction to flatter the body… I love being able to include everyone! I think everyone wants to be able to wear the new trends, look fashionable, and fit in.”
“There are many misconceptions about plus-size women… I hear all the time that plus-size women don’t want to work out or that they don’t want to shop in stores. This couldn’t 
be further from the truth! If retailers could see the amount of women who want cute, bright, on-trend items in their size, they’d surely be more open to carrying more sizes in their stores.”
Katie’s advice to readers? “Find clothes that make you feel good. Focus less on the size and more on how it looks on you and how it makes you feel. When you look good, you feel good! Don’t let the scale determine your worth.”
