Winning Miss Fuller Woman Canada 2016 comes after a lot of work for Vanessa Nash-Gale. She has entered pageants for years and has loved them for as long as she can remember. She sees the ostentatious nature of pageants as a real celebration of womanhood and beauty. But there is a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes leading up to coronation night. You have to be away from your family for a long period of time and attending the practices requires a lot of time and money. The work Vanessa put in to win the Miss Fuller Woman Canada 2016 crown was the hardest thing she had ever done.

There were ten straight days of intense preparation before the event often not leaving much time for the basics like eating and sleeping. Every move was watched so Vanessa knew she had to be on top form at all times. Even after the rehearsals at the venue Vanessa found herself practicing and preparing. But winning the crown made it all worthwhile. The confidence that helped Vanessa Nash-Gale win the pageant is something that she feels has always been with her.

Vanessa says that she came out of the womb ready to take on this world. She has always looked beyond the things that might bother her about herself on a given day and just gets on with her life. Vanessa grew up in the ballroom dancing scene in Toronto and had plenty of role models to look up to during her younger, formative years. The theatrical nature the dance world offered gave her a good start when competing in pageants. Vanessa will use her time as Miss Fuller Canada 2016 to provide some help and inspiration to others. She plans to work with some youth charities and provide image coaching to help others to gain confidence and fulfill their dreams. Her advice for those that are looking to her for inspiration – You must love yourself to be able to love anyone else. Looking for all the positive things about yourself will help you to feel as though you are on the right track and ready to face the world.
