What type of modeling do you do? How did you get started?

I modeled for a designer in a fashion show and more opportunities presented from there.

Describe your personal style. What are some of your signature colors, styles, and accessories?

I like to describe my personal style as unique and diverse. I love to put random things together and make an outfit look unique. That way, I`ll usually never see someone out in the exact outfit I’m wearing. My signature colors are red, black and yellow. I also never leave the house without a pair of hoop earrings on even, if I’m going to the gym.

What does life look like for you outside of modeling?

I am makeup artist, so I love being creative, doing DIY projects, decorating, traveling, and spending time with my family.

What does being a plus model mean to you?

I`m able to make a positive impact on people. I love helping other plus-size women build their confidence and understand that you don’t have to be a size two to love your body and be beautiful.

Be loyal to yourself and don’t be afraid to get
outside of your comfort zone.

What accomplishments are you most proud of?

My proudest accomplishment is winning “Makeup Artist of the Year” at the Oklahoma City Peoples Awards in 2016 & 2017. I was also nominated for “Favorite Big Beautiful Woman” in 2016.

Which fashion brands and designers are leading the pack or doing something different and meaningful?

Fashion Nova Curve! I love how diverse and affordable they are and that they have something for all shapes, sizes, statuses, gender and background!

What are some tips you’d like to share with aspiring models?

Don’t compare yourself or success rate to others. Never give up on your dreams. Stay focused and consistent and your light will eventually shine on others!

We all have flaws and insecurities, but confidence is key! Once you’re confident in yourself, others will be as well. Be comfortable in your own skin and love yourself.
